Description

The Ortho Ankle Brace Aequi Flex is a distinctive brace with added flexibility and comprehensive compression of the affected area. There is an enlarged flexible shell covering the ankle, which ensures even distribution of compression. The rigid support is situated exclusively on the medial side of the ankle and has a recess for the malleolus. As for the functional strap, it can easily be adjusted to position following the level of swelling in the (sub) acute phase. If additional compression to the joint is required, just easily adjust the two elastic straps individually. As a result, the inversion/eversion movement is properly restricted, while allowing adequate freedom of plantar/dorsal flexion. Basically, normal movement patterns of the foot are not inhibited while walking. By using flexible materials, the brace guarantees optimal fit and enhanced comfort for the user.
