The SofTec Dorso is a multi-purpose orthosis used in cases of vertebral displacement (spondylodesis) or after operations on tumors to keep fractures immobile. This straightens the spine and stabilizes the transition point between the lumbar and thoracic spinal columns. The brace is specially designed to be easy to put on and adjust. It contains of carbon-reinforced framework with bars, which is connected by an elastic, breathable knitted fabric. Therefore, the brace is lightweight and flexible, yet strong enough to support and straighten targeted areas of the back. The main feature of this brace is its unique design where it is easy to use as a jacket, where it requires virtually no strength. Users will just have to pull forward the patented tensioning straps with their thumbs to adjust for an ideal fit.
